I was feeling pretty rotten (stuffed nose, cough, laryngitis) on Sunday so I missed the aqueduct ride. Who all went? How was it? Do tell.
the ride was beautiful, and great fun, but physically challenging. it was not easy riding over all those fallen oak leaves, and there were many stops, barriers, etc. but everyone kept up the pace, and henry finch is enthusiastic, and he knows the territory extremely well. i hope he will repeat the ride in the spring.
I thought it was a great ride, too. As did Roz (age 13). I had no idea where I was most of the time. It made me realize what a nice thing pavement is — that is, to bike on.
